Kafelonia

This is the harbour setting for the film, Captain Corelli's Mandolin. My friend Alkie has roots in town, and we got to know most of the women who wear black and the people from small villages nearby, as well as the yachtsmen.

Hotel Euroglobe

At 880DNK per night, this seemed to be a bit of a dive at first. Though after walking through the upscale neighbourhood of Fredericksburg next to Copenhagen, we realized we were in an upscale neighbourhood and that well, all the other hotels were charging 1700DNK for a family room. There was a hotel one street over that seemed alot slicker and offered inexpensive rooms, but the rooms were much smaller. In any event, by trying to save money on Orbitz, a stopover in Copenhagen can be costly. Matisse was showing in town, but we were scheduled to catch our flight.

Food in Copenhagen

Expensive but top quality foods, fruits, cereals and designs. Architecture pretty amazing, and the cost of living very high. Sebastian poses by a grape display.

Sad but cheerful parting.

Stopover in Copenhagen

If everyone rode a bicyle to work like they do in Copenhagen the world would be alot cooler, and people would die of less heart disease.
